PURPOSE: 
The purpose of the 2019 New Braunfels Woman of the Year award is to recognize an individual woman who has distinguished herself in our community.

This award honors the extraordinary and inspirational women of our community.
We seek honorees who aren’t waiting for the world to become a better place—they’re making it one. If you know of an exceptional leader serving on the front lines of change, we'd love to hear her story.

What does this woman look like?

• She fights to make a lasting difference.

• She has a servant heart and is consistently re-defining the meaning.

• She is a game changer. A rule breaker. A trailblazer.

• She promotes messages of hope, strength, and resiliency.

We're looking for the mother. The fighter. The mentor. The entrepreneur. The politician. The brave. The bachelorette. The teacher. A woman who merits recognition for her exemplary perseverance.

NOMINATION GUIDELINES:

Give a complete overview of your nominee. Emphasize the unique elements of her accomplishments and the impacts she makes! Provide examples of how your nominee has demonstrated leadership characteristics throughout her career and/or personal life. Tell the panel how she has successfully demonstrated her abilities as an individual, a team member, and a leader. Has she demonstrated a willingness to serve and assist other women in their personal and professional development and contributes to the successes of others? We'd love to hear it all!

Nominations will be accepted through February 29, 2020 at midnight.
The 2019 Fierce Woman of the Year award winner will be announced Thursday, March 19, 2020.

A winner be chosen by a 7 person panel of judges whom are members of The NB Chamber of Commerce, NB Jaycees and NB Downtown Association.
